Birthday Club
Your new best friend will never forget your birthday, and we want to make your birthday fabulous. The Birthday Club makes sure all of Dudley’s Place clients feel loved on their special day.
Clients should make sure programs staff have your correct address and phone number on file to receive your birthday greetings.
Benefits Advocate
The Benefit Advocate will work to provide high-quality support and referrals for patients by assisting them in accessing medical services, health insurance, Ryan White benefits, and other resources and services to improve better health outcomes and housing stability.
They will help provide pharmaceutical assistance for clients — ensuring medications at free or reduced pricing and assisting clients with linkage to care resources such as housing, nutritional assistance, transportation and social functions that help increase the client’s ability to remain independent in the community.
Client Advocacy
Our Patient Advocates help clients by providing support through referral services and assisting HIV+ clients in ensuring medical adherence. This program promotes the independence, stability, and health of clients living with HIV/AIDS by advocating for clients on the Ryan White program.
Ryan White clients will receive extra support at each visit from their personal client advocate. Patient Advocates are available to clients between medical visits and can assist in crisis situations or to just celebrate successes.
Essential Items Pantry
We understand the importance of maximizing personal income. To assist with this, we offer an onsite pantry that stocks essentials items, such as basic toiletries and self-care items — allowing clients to utilize personal income for food or housing. Clients may utilize the pantry once every 60 days if they are compliant with nutritional program policies.
Emergency Food Vouchers
For people living with HIV, proper nutrition is a critical part of maintaining a healthy immune system. Through Dudley’s Place, we offer a $50 food voucher to HIV+ clients experiencing food insecurity. Clients who receive this voucher work closely with the Clinical Dietitian to address their needs. Clients can request a voucher once every 60 days if they are compliant with nutritional program policies.
Outside Referrals
While Dudley’s Place works to create a “one stop shop” for all our clients’ needs, sometimes our clients need services in the community. Our staff is knowledgeable about many services outside the agency, from medical to social services. Just let a staff member know of your needs and they will work to overcome any barriers.
