Dudley’s Garden

Dudley’s Garden is our very own farm to table program for Dudley’s Place clients. During the summer and fall, clients can receive a monthly supply of fresh, local and organically grown produce. The program helps clients gain a newfound appreciation of where food comes from. It also exposes them to new vegetables they may have otherwise never tried coupled with healthy recipes.

Grocery Store Tours

A grocery store tour is a hands-on educational session where you and our dietitian venture into the real world. You will meet at a grocery store and walk through what a healthy shopping trip looks like, aisle-by-aisle.

This is a great opportunity to share brand favorites, introduce clients to new foods and teach them shopping tips to simplify their lives.

For those clients receiving food vouchers, these tour also focus on how to shop  for healthy foods on a budget.

Medical Body Composition

Medical Body Composition Analysis gives a better assessment of health than weight, or body mass index alone. Our Secca analyzer can provide a variety of information including:

  • Fat mass percentage

  • Skeletal muscle mass percentage

  • Total and extracellular body water

  • Visceral fat (fat between the organs)

  • Estimated Calorie needs

  • Amounts of muscle in arms, legs and torso

  • Phase Angle, or general cell health

When measurements are done over time, we can see how dietary and exercise changes are affecting fat and muscle mass. People who are trying to lose weight, want to be sure that they are maintaining muscle mass, while losing fat mass.
