“Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation…”

Audre Lorde, black feminist lesbian activist and icon

Navigating your way to a healthier mindset can be tricky.

Let us aid in taking the first step!

Couch Talks

Sometimes the best person to talk with is someone who has lived through what you are going through. Couch Talks is our peer-to-peer support group for people living with HIV, and this bi-weekly meeting lets you connect with other clients who have similar issues while discussing ways to overcome challenges. Facilitated by a member of the Dudley’s Place staff with lived experiences, topics range from relationships, faith and HIV, disclosure, and much more.

Group Counseling

Therapeutic groups help connect clients with others whom all face similar concerns. Group counseling provides a supportive environment to discuss problems and work toward concrete goals.

Lead by the Dudley’s Place mental health therapist, groups are topic-focused and limited in sessions and participants. Prior approval is required to participate.

Individual + Couples

We are not promised an easy life, and the world can be unforgiving. At Dudley’s Place, clients can find help when struggling with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, anger management, relationship issues, parenting concerns, marital difficulties, grief, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and more.

Affirmative Care

Living as your most authentic self can be difficult in a world filled with so many opinions and hostility. We encourage all of our clients to live their most authentic lives because we believe in the beauty of individuality. Our staff is always here for you if you are facing troubles regarding your identity — no matter your sexuality, gender, race, ethnicity, etc. We love and respect you for YOU.

Gender-Affirming Counseling + Assessments

Not everyone fits neatly into the traditional gender and sexuality groups created by society. Whether you identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, questioning, genderfluid, nonbinary, gender non-conforming, transgender, etc. — it is important to find a knowledgeable and affirming counselor.

The Dudley’s Place mental health therapist can provide a welcoming space to explore your identity, provide assessments and support letters for gender-affirming hormone therapy and more.
